22: Ian Szabo | Short Bus Talks

Ian Szabo is the founder of, Short Bus Talks. He is a successful real estate investor, entrepreneur, motivational speaker, best selling author of From Reno’s To Riches and co-author of the book Fix and Flip. He is also a former member of the Canada Culinary Olympic Team at the age of 23 and became Head Sous Chef of Toronto’s Elite Granite Club. In his youth, Ian struggled in the traditional schooling model and grew up believing he was unintelligent. Due to his unrelenting drive and a ton of hard work he uncovered his hidden talents and gifts like creativity, charisma, drive, relationship skills which contributed to his business success. In his latest venture, Short Bus Talks, Ian drives his short bus across North America to deliver a message of hope, overcoming past conditioning, breaking personal limits and discovering your gifts to today’s youth and entrepreneurs, interviews many underdog success stories with a very recent one being with Gary Vaynerchuk.

I've known Ian for many years and have witnessed his constant growth and reinvention process. I wanted him to come on the show because I've seen him overcome a ton of obstacles in his life and he's super open and willing to share about it on stage and with anyone who asks. My friends, he is genuine, has a huge heart, and is up to something big with Short Bus Talks!
